Welcome! I research the politics of transparency: why some firms support corporate transparency laws and how this support influences the adoption of transparency standards. My dissertation examined the adoption of beneficial ownership transparency laws in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, and Australia. It also examined the relationship between interest group coordination and influence over policy outcomes through analysis of US public consultation comments.

My broader research agenda on the causes of corporate transparency initiatives in comparative and international political economy relies on both quantitative and qualitative methods. This includes creating new datasets for statistical analysis, survey experiments, interviews, and case studies. My academic writing has been published in Review of International Political Economy, Regulation and Governance, and PS: Political Science and Politics, and my public writing has been published in The Monkey Cage and Tech Policy Press.

I received my PhD from the George Washington University in 2023. Currently, I am the Research Grants Manager for the American Political Science Association.
